Aruna is also the name of a heart moving initiative of people in Mumbai, India. It operates under the umbrella of Oasis, an international organization, to bring an end to human trafficking, specifically in the area of sexual exploitation. Aruna Girls Home, served by the Salvation Army, walks hand in hand with Oasis Aruna in Mumbai to meet the need on the ground.
